ChinaCoal has abundant coal resources. The Group has 21 wholly-owned or holding coal mines, locating in 8 mining areas in Shanxi, Jiangsu, Heilongjiang and Shaanxi provinces. ChinaCoal adopts advanced technologies in coal extraction and processing and has rich variety of coal products with high quality. In recent years, ChinaCoal’s coal production volume has kept increasing in a fast pace. From 2004 to 2007, its average annual production volume increased by more than 15 MTs. In 2008, the Group’s coal production volume reached 114.11 MTs, increased by 8.7% compared to that of 2007, ranking the second in Chinese coal industry.
